Payment Questions?
- Can I use a credit card? Yes! But since we mainly work in direct cash transfers we do add the bank paypal transaction fee which is 3% on the total amount.
- Do you charge tax? Right now we are so small we do not charge tax in the EU.
- Do you take payment plans? Yes! We take monthly installment plans up to one year arranged based on an agreed amount and date between myself and client.
- If you are an artist we can go to great lengths to make something comfortable, however a deposit is needed.
- How do you bill? Hours are billed in 30 minute periods.
Hosting Questions
- Can I host my site? Yes! But keep in mind other hosts have possibly less benefits than we do so choose carefully. I am happy to advise you. Sometimes saving one or two euros a month can mean less in service.
- Can I switch from you later? Yes, its no problem to transfer a domain and account, but it may require some extra cost for the time of moving your account. These are usually minimal, around 75 Euros or less depending on the complexity and scale of your site.
Webmaster Questions
- How are hours billed? Hours are billed in 30 minute periods. Extra hours are carried over into the next month. If hours are not being used, we can re-evaluate and find a more appropriate plan. These are reviewed at the end of 6-month periods and sent along with a statistics report of your site.
- Can I use hours ahead of time? No, they start at the beginning of each month. They must be accrued before being used.
- Can I downgrade to a lower plan? Yes! No point in piling up hours you don’t use. I am happy to change. We can review every 6 months.
- Can I upgrade an account? Yes, I am all about flexibility and fairness.
- Can I cancel a contract with you? I’ll be sad to see you go! I just ask for 30 days notice. Upon cancellation all securty data including logins and passwords will be sent in a secure pdf document to you for whoever will continue serving you.
- Do you give lessons? Yes, I can give online tutorials over Skype or other methods. I will also travel to you if you are within Berlin’s AB Zones. Outside of that may require me to charge travel costs.
- Do you fix computers? I am not a computer technician, but I do offer services for consulation focusing on software, and Apple and Windows operating systems. Apple operating systems are my most familiar territory. I charge 35 €/hour, but if I cannot solve the problem, you just pay 25 € for my visit, and I’ll do my best to connect you to another solution.
